事實上，《盆栽》也是一張十分精緻的EP作品，專輯中收錄的四首歌曲都有著不俗的品質，能做到流行而不流俗，關鍵是歌曲的內容多多少少能表現出歌者此時的心態，而歌者的演繹又凝聚了應有的情懷，繼而讓專輯的可聽性上升到一個更高的台階。就好比《盆栽》，唱的就是對待愛情的方式，任何的愛都需要像盆栽一樣悉心栽培，而這不正是周慧敏經營個人感情最直接的寫照？《無雙譜》，聽似一首悲歌，實則透過林夕的詞卻讓人感到對愛的堅定與無畏；《有您美麗太多》，陳少琪的歌詞感性而真誠，可以說是一首周慧敏為愛人或是愛她的人所唱的歌。多年後再聽周慧敏錄音室版本的演繹，會發現她的聲音不再如往昔般的纏綿、纖細、甜美，是變得成熟、淡然且充滿著質感。不過，其實不管怎麼變，周慧敏聲音中的那一份固有的魅力及情懷卻一如往昔，所以無論過了多久，她的聲音都依然那麼地迷人且讓人懷念。
