1. 情人節的來歷

情人節的來歷
在古羅馬時期，二月十四日是為表示對約娜的尊敬而設的節日。約娜是羅馬眾神的皇後，羅馬人同時將她尊奉為婦女和婚姻之神。接下來的二月十五日則被稱為「盧帕撒拉節」，是用來對約娜治下的其他眾神表示尊敬的節日。

在古羅馬，年輕人和少女的生活是被嚴格分開的。然而，在盧帕撒拉節，小夥子們可以選擇一個自己心愛的姑娘的名字刻在花瓶上。這樣，過節的時候，小夥子就可以與自己選擇的姑娘一起跳舞，慶祝節日。如果被選中的姑娘也對小夥子有意的話，他們便可一直配對，而且最終他們會墜入愛河並一起步入教堂結婚。後人為此而將每年的二月十四日定為情人節。

在西方，情人節不但是表達情意的最佳時刻，也是向自己心愛的人求婚的最佳時刻。在這一點上，情人節體現出的，不正是古羅馬人設計這個節日的本意嗎？

公元三世紀時，古羅馬有一位暴君叫 克勞多斯（Claudius）。離暴君的宮殿不遠，有一座非常漂亮的神廟。修士瓦淪丁（Valentine）就住在這里。羅馬人非常崇敬他，男女老幼，不論貧富貴賤，總會群集在他的周圍，在祭壇的熊熊聖火前，聆聽瓦淪丁的祈禱。

古羅馬的戰事一直連綿不斷，暴君克勞多斯徵召了大批公民前往戰場，人們怨聲載道。男人們不願意離開家庭，小夥子們不忍與情人分開。克勞多斯暴跳如雷，他傳令人們不許舉行婚禮，甚至連所有已訂了婚的也馬上要解除婚約。許多年輕人就這樣告別愛人，悲憤地走向戰場。年輕的姑娘們也由於失去愛侶，抑鬱神傷。

瓦淪丁對暴君的虐行感到非常難過。當一對情侶來到神廟請求他的幫助時，瓦淪帝尼在神聖的祭壇前為它們悄悄地舉行了婚禮。人們一傳十，十傳百，很多人來到這里，在瓦淪丁的幫助下結成伴侶。

消息終於傳進了宮殿，傳到了暴君的耳里。克勞多斯又一次暴跳如雷，他命令士兵們沖進神廟，將瓦淪丁從一對正在舉行婚禮的新人身旁拖走，投入地牢。人們苦苦哀求暴君的劾免，但都徒勞而返。瓦淪丁終於在地牢里受盡折磨而死。悲傷的朋友們將他安葬於聖普拉 教堂。那一天是2月14日，那一年是公元270年。

St. Valentine's Day has roots in several different legends that have found their way to us through the ages. One of the earliest popular symbols of the day is Cupid（愛神丘比特）, the Roman god of love, who is represented by the image of a young boy with bow and arrow.

Three hundred years after the death of Jesus Christ, the Roman emperors still demanded that everyone believe in the Roman gods. Valentine, a Christian priest, had been thrown in prison for his teachings. On February 14, Valentine was beheaded, not only because he was a Christian, but also because he had performed a miracle. He supposedly cured the jailer's daughter of her blindness. The night before he was executed, he wrote the jailer's daughter a farewell letter, signing it "From Your Valentine." Another legend tells us that this same Valentine, well-loved by all, received notes to his jail cell from children and friends who missed him.

Another Valentine was an Italian bishop who lived at about the same time, AD 200. He was imprisoned because he secretly married couples, contrary to the laws of the Roman emperor. Some legends say he was burned at the stake.

February 14 was also a Roman holiday, held in honor of a goddess. Young men randomly chose the name of a young girl to escort to the festivities. The custom of choosing a sweetheart on this date spread through Europe in the Middle Ages, and then to the early American colonies. Throughout the ages, people also believed that birds picked their mates on February 14!

In AD 496 Sain Pope Gelasius I named February 14 as "Valentine's Day". Although it's not an official holiday, most Americans observe this day.

Whatever the odd mixture of origins, St. Valentine's Day is now a day for sweethearts. It is the day that you show your friend or loved one that you care. You can send candy to someone you think is special. Or you can send roses, the flower of love. Most people send "valentines," a greeting card named after the notes that St. Valentine received in jail. Valentines can be sentimental, romantic and heartfelt. They can be funny and friendly. If the sender is shy, valentines can be anonymous.

Americans of all ages love to send and receive valentines. Handmade valentines created by cutting hearts out of colored paper, show that a lot of thought was put into making them personal. Valentines can be heart-shaped, or have hearts, the symbol of love, on them. In elementary schools children make valentines for their classmates and put them in a large decorated box, similar to a mailbox. On February 14, the teacher opens the box and distributes the valentines to each student. After the students read their valentines they have a small party with refreshments.

For teenagers and alts, major newspapers throughout the country have a Valentine's Day offer. Anyone can send in a message, for a small fee of course, destined for a would-be sweetheart, a good friend, an acquaintance or even a spouse of fifty years. The message is printed in a special section of the newspaper on February 14.

雖然很多人說情侶間送鞋不好 但我倒是覺得不需要有太大的顧忌耶
真的會長長久久的不會因為一點迷信就分開 而會分開的不論什麼理由都能當借口不是嗎？
而且我覺得男生收到球鞋應該會很開心
如果剛好是夢寐以求的款式 例如喬丹系列就很受歡迎
皮夾Wallet
我最愛送也最愛收到的禮物首選♥ 因為每天必帶出門的就是皮夾無誤了!!!
包包衣服帽子都有可能更換 但皮夾總不會天天換來換去了吧

接下來進入配件類 墨鏡就是我第一個想到的選項
這個禮物預算就能自己掌握拉 學生可以挑選一款外型好看的只要百元就可以入手
有預算的話可以從品牌下手 墨鏡的品牌太多了我就不一一介紹了
男生的話推薦Ray-ban跟Gucci都有不錯的款式
我偏愛雷朋的版型 覺得男生戴起來帥翻了♥
手鏈 Bracelets
手鏈也是男女皆可的禮物 女生的禮物我覺得真的難度很低
從簡單的小飾品到中高價位的Tiffany隨你挑 男生的話推薦編織的BV手環
我覺得超級好看!!! 有出國的話不妨在機場找看看
我個人覺得專櫃的定價稍嫌高了一些些
不過這款手環可能真的賣得太好了 要找到喜歡的顏色跟款式還不一定有貨呢!!!

如果你有每天戴錶的習慣 收到這個禮物一定會很開心!!!
我覺得要找到男女生好看的表都不難

大概百貨逛一圈、或是上SHOPBOP之類的購物網站絕對會有好貨
預算的話我覺得抓1000-2000左右差不多 就可以找到很不錯的款式了：）

再來進入生活區 如果是我自己要送禮物的話
不管是朋友還是情人，都會希望對方"真的用得到"才是重點
而不是收到之後擺在家堆灰塵（笑）香水就是個比較見仁見智的禮物了
手機殼 Phone Case
這個禮物老實說我不知道男生收到會不會開心 女生收到一定樂翻了XD
收集手機殼根本就是跟買衣服一樣痴狂啊 男生的話我覺得那種金屬的框框很搭
不需要太復雜的圖案 簡簡單單的就很有型～又很實用
耳機 Headphones/Earphones
其實我是有考慮要把耳機放在生活還是3C類別 但畢竟他沒有太復雜的操作功能
還是歸類在生活吧!! 雖然說現在買手機都有附贈耳機
但還是很多人會喜歡入手 不管是外型好看還是音質厲害都有它的吸引力
男生的話應該著重在音質上 我聽朋友說鐵三角的好像還不賴
可以先打聽一下另一半喜歡的品牌再來做功課!!!

可能就要找找看專賣店或是經銷商 專業的我不懂啦～

實在很不想把電動列入選項中 但我不得不說，這的確是男孩們會想收到的夢想清單之一
如果有10個女生開口問另一半說想不想收到PS4 大概會有8個拚命點頭說好吧（笑）

In prison, he touched the warden's daughter with his open heart.

They loved each other and were taken care of by the warden's daughter. The ruling class ordered his execution.

（他們相互愛慕，並得到典獄長女兒的照顧。統治階級下令將他執行死刑。）

Before his execution, he wrote a long suicide note to the warden's daughter, stating that he was innocent.

It showed his open and aboveboard feelings and his deep attachment to the gaoler's daughter.
